For more than 30 years, art has been a part of my life. I’m a down-to-earth artist who simply loves turning meaningful photographs into portraits that capture the people, memories, and stories that matter most.
A few years ago, I stepped away from art as life became centered around my father, Charlie Thornton. After recently losing him, returning to my art has become more than reopening a business—it represents a new beginning. Although my father is no longer physically here, I feel him pushing me to get back to the natural talent I’ve carried all these years and make the most of the gift I was given.
That experience has also given me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of photographs and memories. Whether I’m creating a family portrait, celebrating someone special, or honoring the memory of a loved one, I put a piece of my heart into every portrait I create.
